I'm a Sydney-based freelance writer. I also sell retrotastic clothes to lovely ladies and gents via markets and the odd garage sale. This site is the little, image obsessed sister to my blog, which can be found at www.owlandthegrapes.com. I can be contacted at owlandthegrapes@gmail.com.
Despite having lived through it, I’m actually rather hopeless when it comes to the nineties. Alas, I find myself going to a nineties themed party tonight. Any costume ideas?
Now EVERY weekend!
Our sales at Hibernian House were legendary. For good reason, too. What’s not to love about wallet friendly, hand picked vintage and retro clothing a stone’s throw from the city? This weekend, we’ll be holding the first official sale at our new premises, which combines everything you loved about Hibernian House, including the uber cool warehouse vibe and super low prices, with everything we felt you deserved, including more room to move, proper changing rooms, a projector screen and the convenience of our own little laneway in the heart of Surry Hills. Winner!
Bobby and I are DJing at Get Ready this Friday. It’s a damn fun night - don’t miss it Sydney-siders.

Our little vintage store has been featured in super cool Sydney culture guide Two Thousand! Check it out here.
Ladies wear is priced! And boy, is it cheap. Only two days ‘till our opening party.
SO EXCITED.
Three days ‘till our Grand Opening! Presently popping the prices of items on our brand spanking new price tags in preparation. Cheapest item of clothing? Thus far, a blouse for a tiny $2.
Only four days ‘till our Grand Opening Night! The hooks are up and the rails installed - all that’s left now is the fun stuff (hanging, pricing, prancing and playing dress ups). http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=124463814267967&ref=ts
